because I would be getting into more parts too. most all mountain bikes don't have 12 mm rear dropouts so I'd need a new back hub too, and I wanted it to be light. Plus I already bought a 2008 Norco Fluid. lol

it's happened to me plenty of times. these things are bulletproof. it is the ones with replaceable pins that have the problems, because they tear the threads out when they get beat up. They have a lifetime warranty on the pedal bodies as well.
